KOTG Microcast #9 Quest for Cosplay

We have a very special Microcast this week. A few weeks back during Dragon Con a photo was floating around cyberspace showing fans dressed up as The Guild character Avatar outfits. I thought it would be fun to chat with them and see how they pulled this off so quickly, among other things.  So Jenni and I sat down with them over skype and had a fun conversation.
We would like to Thank David (Bladezz far left), CJ (Vork), James (Zaboo), Lisa (Codex), Daniella (Dancer), Rogue (Bladezz far right), and Caitlin (Bladezz Groupie) for taking the time and chatting with Knights of the Guild. KOTG Microcast #7 Quest for Blizzcon

Last Month Jenni and I were lucky enough to volunteer for The Guild booth at Blizzcon. We were also lucky enough to record some audio from our days at the con.

* We start with my intro as I head to Blizzcon.
* I find Jenni and we hear what she did the previous night with the Guild cast, crew and fans.


* We then go behind the stage as the Guild cast wait to go on stage for their panel, both Jenni and I interview cast members.
* Then there are some Q & A from the Panel
* After that we hold a raffle,  we gave away 4 Zunes


* And finally we are done and head back to our cars.
The audio is okay, we were using our portable recorder.
Hopefully we brought a little Blizzcon to those who could not make it and for those who did, hopefully we brought back some fun memories.

The Guild: Season One and The Guild: Season Two are available beginning today for pre-order exclusively on Amazon.com as both physical DVDs and digital downloads, with a customer availability date of May 19, 2009. As a unique Amazon.com exclusive, customers who purchase Season One or Season Two on DVD will get the corresponding season as a free digital copy from Amazon Video on Demand. Customers will be able to watch The Guild online immediately upon its release date using a Mac or PC, or on a variety of compatible devices. Season Two of the series also will be available for the first time as a digital HD offering from Amazon Video on Demand's new HD catalog.

In The Guild: Season One, Cyd Serman, a.k.a. Codex, (Ms. Day) has hit bottom. Dumped by her boyfriend, her employer, and her therapist, she drowns her sorrows the way any modern girl would - in the world of online gaming. But, after a fellow player, "Zaboo" (Sandeep Parikh), mistakes their in-game rapport for real-world romance and shows up on her doorstep, Codex brings all the members of her online guild face-to-face - with very awkward results....
Picking up where Season One left off, Season Two of The Guild finds Codex evicted at the hands of Zaboo's jilted mother - and Zaboo shows no signs of giving up on their perceived romance. As Codex struggles to deal with her issues and simultaneously advise her Guild-mates on their lives, a mysterious neighbor begins to show interest in Codex, sending her life further into turmoil...and all this occurs before the game's server is unexpectedly shut down!

KOTG Microcast #1 Quest for the Finale

Jenni and I are happy to introduce "Knights of the Guild" Microcast #1. Quest for the Finale.
We have been getting lots of requests to released our podcast more often then once a month. As much as we would like to do that these podcasts take alot of time to produce, manage and put together so instead we will be releasing microcasts. A two to fifteen minute podcast on one single topic. It could be breaking news, an interview, or anything else we feel like talking about. So our regular 1 hour show will come out as planned on the 15th of each month and will release these microcast every now and then in between.
For our first microcast Jenni and I discuss our thoughts on the second season finale which premiered last Tuesday.

Knights of the Guild Promo

Hello all, my name is Kenny and I’m a big fan of Felicia Day’s wonderful webseries The Guild. I am such a fan that I volunteered to produce, shoot and edit their behind the scenes DVD extras for Season 2 DVD. I do a small RPG podcast for The Treks in sci fi forums which I also moderate and have wanted to do my own larger podcast but the problem was anyone can do a podcast and I need to find my niche. It hit me one day that The Guild deserves it’s own podcast so I approached Felicia and got her permission to start Knights of The Guild, The Official Fan Podcast of The Guild. I am not a fan of solo host podcasts, with a few exceptions so I asked a fellow geeky fangirl Jenni to co-host this with me. Of course her being a fan of The Guild and also volunteering as a Production Assistant among other things for Season Two, she said yes. Thus we are your hosts Kenny and Jenni. Each month we will bring you an inside look at your favorite webseries The Guild. Will have cast, crew and even fan interviews. We will update you on where you can catch your favorite cast member and give you the inside scoop on some of our favorite episodes. This podcast will be released once a month starting February 15th, 2009. We may change format or frequency of releasing podcasts.. who knows what the future holds. But Jenni and I love The Guild and want to share our inside look with all it’s fans.
