Our Season 4 CompanionCasts were a huge hit so we thought we would do them again for Season 5. So what is a CompanionCast?? It’s a behind the scene look at the current episode of The Guild.
I was on set everyday while they shot Season 5. As actors and crew were finished with scenes I would try and speak to them. Get some inside info about the scene they just shot. I also interviewed Felicia Day and Kim Evey about the storyline and Sean Becker about the directing. Each one of these CompanionCasts will be episode specific and will vary in length depending on how much guildie goodness I am able to gather.

Here it is... Knights of the Guild 2nd Anniversary Podcast. This is Episode #25 pt.2
We recorded this on Saturday February 5th and had a slew of guests (over 25 cast, crew, extras, fans) joined us for this very cool event. We also broadcasted this live on Ustream. If you are interested you can watched the entire 4 hours on our Ustream channel (see the link below).
Unfortunately we hit a snag with our recording decided to crash at the very end not saving the project. I did manage to recover the audio but it's in 400 thirty second audio clips all out of order, which makes it impossible to organize it.
So I was going to use the audio from our Ustream feed but my friend Chris Pope informed me that he recorded the entire thing and would be happy to email it to me. So that is what you will hear. The audio is from a laptop mic and as you know those kinds of mics pick up everything and everyone and there was a party going on. It's still very enjoyable and we got to talk to alot of the cast and crew.
In this part we talk with Felicia Day, Sean Becker, Teddy Garces and Crew.

For this years surprise video at Comic Con down in San Diego, Felicia Day and company came up with this AWESOME Bollywood Music Video called "GAME ON" I was on set the two days of shooting and got exclusive behind the scene information about the making of this very cool video.

Here is our very first CompanionCast for Season 4 of The Guild. First of all be sure you watched Episode 1 of season 4. If you haven't seen it yet watch it here.
What is a CompanionCast?? It's a behind the scene look at the current episode of The Guild.
I visited the set everyday while they shot Season 4. As actors and crew were finished with scenes I would try and speak to them. Get some inside info about the scene they just shot. I also interviewed Felicia Day and Kim Evey about the storyline and Sean Becker about the directing. Each one of these CompanionCasts will be episode specific and will vary in length depending on how much guildie goodness I was about to gather.

The Guild at Comic-Con 2010
The Guild will be at Comic-Con! We’re pleased to announce that we’ll have a booth, a panel, new merchandise and some surprises. For the second year in a row, we’ll be sharing a booth, so you can find us listed in the exhibitor guide under “Signal Fire Studios/The Guild” and we’re at booth 4201. We can confirm that, at this time, the entire cast of The Guild will be in attendance, and we will have at least one signing opportunity per day at the booth.
The Guild’s panel is scheduled for Saturday, July 24th from 2pm to 3pm in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront hotel, recently announced as one of the new official venues for Comic-Con. After last year’s standing-room only panel, where we had to turn away several hundred fans, we asked for a larger room and the fine folks at Comic-Con were kind enough to honor that request – so big thanks to Comic-Con. The panel will feature a Q&A with the cast along with the premiere of some new content from The Guild. There will be more info and a complete schedule of Guild-related events posted as we get closer to the Con. Join us on Twitter and Facebook for the most up to date info.

Well it was officially announced that Microsoft will be sponsoring Season Four of The Guild. Here is the official announcement from WatchtheGuild.com

We’re pleased to announce that Season 4 of The Guild is official – Microsoft has renewed the show for another season and new episodes of The Guild will be coming to Xbox, Zune and PCs this summer.
Felicia is putting the finishing touches on the script for Season 4, which will pick up where Season 3 left off. Pre-production is underway, keeping producer Kim Evey and Streamy Award winning director Sean Becker very busy as cameras are set to roll sometime in May. Seasons 1 through 3 are currently available on watchtheguild.com, iTunes, Amazon and YouTube.
Microsoft has sponsored The Guild since season 2. The Guild thanks Microsoft – along with all the fans – for continued support of the show.

This Microcast covers the Guild's comic book signing at Golden Apple in Hollywood. It started out as Felicia Day only but soon all six cast members were going to be there to sign. I wanted to do this microcast for all the fans who couldn't make it. Jenni (my co-host) is on the East coast so I asked a good friend of mine Greg Aronowitz to join me, which he happily did. So we got there around 5 and there was already a line forming. We interviewed some fans who were waiting and then went inside when the event started. Most of the night I was the "muscle" and stood by Felicia and made sure no one went behind the table. It was a very well organized event and everything went very smoothly. After the last person in line (they had to close off the line). I joined in and had my owe comic books signed.. I might work for The Guild but I'm still a fanboy. 
Greg and I also did mini interviews with each cast members about the experience and being in a comic book and an interview with the store owner Ryan.
It was a great night, Greg was a super substitute co-host and hopefully this microcast brought the signing to everyone.

The Ultimate Unicorn Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
.5 pound ground unicorn sirloin
.5 pound unicorn flank steak in 1 inch cubes
16 ounces black beans
16 ounces pinto beans
2 green pepper sliced into 1 inch pieces
1 large onion, diced
1 cup potion
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp ground unicorn horn
.5 tbsp naughty fairy dust

In a medium skillet, silver* the ground unicorn over a medium heat. Should take just a few minutes. Unicorn is extremely lean so be careful not to overcook. Add the peppers and onion and cook until peppers are soft, about ten minutes. Transfer the meat and veggies into a large saucepan and add both cans of beans without draining, cooking on medium/high heat. Add the potion and switch to high heat and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, in another skillet, lightly sear the flank steak before adding to the saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer while stirring in the chili powder, unicorn horn and naughty fairy dust. Let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes remove from heat and its ready to serve. Best if topped with sour cream and shredded rainbows** with a suggested side dish of cookies and love.

** shredding rainbows best done with a cheese grater made from silver mined from the Spires of Dragonor.

The Guild is pleased to announce the release of the Season 3 to DVD and iTunes. On Monday, January 25th, The Guild seasons 1 through 3 will be available for purchase on iTunes. Because of the length of the individual web series episodes, on iTunes they will sell as bundles of 2-3 episodes, each approximately 10 minutes in length.
Season 1 will be available in standard definition for $0.99 per iTunes episode bundle or $2.97 for the full season. The first episode bundle from Season 1, which is comprised of the episodes "Wake Up Call," Zaboo'd" and "The Macro Problem" will be a free download" Zaboo'd - The Macro Problem
Seasons 2 and 3 will be available in both standard and high definition, priced at $0.99 per episode bundle (SD) or $1.99 per episode bundle (HD). Season passes are $5.99 (SD) or $9.99 (HD) for seasons 2 and 3. The iTunes contents are episodes only, no DVD bonus features are included with this release, with the exception of the Season 3 bonus feature "Tips on Making a Web Series" which is free on iTunes with the purchase of the season pass.

A few weeks back we put a contest call out for listeners to create a "Guild" themed Haiku, Limerick or Poem and boy did you guys deliver, we received 38 entries. Then for one week we had listeners vote for their favorites in each category and on today's microcast we will announce the winners. Not only will we announce the winners but we will also have every poem, haiku and limerick read aloud.

We have a very special Microcast this week. A few weeks back during Dragon Con a photo was floating around cyberspace showing fans dressed up as The Guild character Avatar outfits. Last Month Jenni and I were lucky enough to volunteer for The Guild booth at Blizzcon. We were also lucky enough to record some audio from our days at the con.

Picking up where Season One left off, Season Two of The Guild finds Codex evicted at the hands of Zaboo's jilted mother - and Zaboo shows no signs of giving up on their perceived romance. As Codex struggles to deal with her issues and simultaneously advise her Guild-mates on their lives, a mysterious neighbor begins to show interest in Codex, sending her life further into turmoil...and all this occurs before the game's server is unexpectedly shut down!

Jenni and I are happy to introduce "Knights of the Guild" Microcast #1. Quest for the Finale.
We have been getting lots of requests to released our podcast more often then once a month. As much as we would like to do that these podcasts take alot of time to produce, manage and put together so instead we will be releasing microcasts. A two to fifteen minute podcast on one single topic. It could be breaking news, an interview, or anything else we feel like talking about. So our regular 1 hour show will come out as planned on the 15th of each month and will release these microcast every now and then in between.
For our first microcast Jenni and I discuss our thoughts on the second season finale which premiered last Tuesday.

Hello all, my name is Kenny and I’m a big fan of Felicia Day’s wonderful webseries The Guild. I am such a fan that I volunteered to produce, shoot and edit their behind the scenes DVD extras for Season 2 DVD. I do a small RPG podcast for The Treks in sci fi forums which I also moderate and have wanted to do my own larger podcast but the problem was anyone can do a podcast and I need to find my niche. It hit me one day that The Guild deserves it’s own podcast so I approached Felicia and got her permission to start Knights of The Guild, The Official Fan Podcast of The Guild. I am not a fan of solo host podcasts, with a few exceptions so I asked a fellow geeky fangirl Jenni to co-host this with me. Of course her being a fan of The Guild and also volunteering as a Production Assistant among other things for Season Two, she said yes. Thus we are your hosts Kenny and Jenni. Each month we will bring you an inside look at your favorite webseries The Guild. Will have cast, crew and even fan interviews. We will update you on where you can catch your favorite cast member and give you the inside scoop on some of our favorite episodes. This podcast will be released once a month starting February 15th, 2009. We may change format or frequency of releasing podcasts.. who knows what the future holds. But Jenni and I love The Guild and want to share our inside look with all it’s fans.
